Young 10 point desert muledeer buck on alert. Over the years he will shed his antlers and get larger until he reaches full maturity, then will start declining antler quality. Deer, both mule deer and whitetail roam the mountains of west Texas. The Davis Mountains host a wide variety of flora and fauna. Located near Fort Davis, Marfa, McDonald Observatory, and the Hobby Eberly Telescope there is much to see and do in the area.

As an artist, I strive to capture the many wonders in nature. I have been honored to win many awards over the decades most often for my wildlife photography. I try and capture the beauty I see around me. I hope my photos allow you to recall the wonderful things that exist despite the tragedies we each may face. Just make it to another sunrise!
